Are you a moving company?
Yes — Oklahoma Home Movers is a fully licensed and insured Oklahoma City moving company running our own trucks and uniformed crew, with US DOT and MC authority.
How much does a local move in OKC cost?
Two movers and a truck start at $115 an hour, and three movers with a truck start at $155 an hour, with a one-hour minimum. We put your price in writing before the day.
What does a flat-rate written quote mean?
It means we quote one locked price for your move based on your home, your access and your inventory. The written number is what you pay, with no hourly clock ticking and no end-of-day surprises.
How much is the deposit to book?
It takes $99 to reserve your date, and that amount goes toward your total. Until you are ready to lock a day, there is no charge for a quote.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are a licensed and insured Oklahoma moving company with US DOT and MC authority, running our own crews and trucks. Proof of coverage is available if your building or HOA requests it.
Do you handle packing?
We do. Our crew can pack your whole home or just the fragile items, using our own boxes, paper and blankets. Packing is added to your written quote so you see the cost up front.
Can you store my things short-term?
Yes, we offer short-term storage for the gap when your move-out and move-in dates do not line up. Your belongings stay wrapped and tracked until delivery day.
Do you move out of state?
We run regular long-distance routes from OKC to cities like Tulsa, Wichita, Amarillo and Dallas. Every long-distance job is a binding written rate, so the price is fixed before we load.
How do you handle Oklahoma storm season and red-dirt driveways?
We watch the central Oklahoma forecast and plan your loading window around storm cells, pausing for severe weather rather than working through it. On muddy red-dirt or gravel drives we stage the truck as close as we safely can and pad the carry.
How far ahead should I book?
Weekends and month-ends fill first, so a week or two of notice is ideal. That said, we do our best to fit last-minute moves, so it is always worth a call.
What if something gets damaged?
We wrap and pad your items to prevent damage, but if something does go wrong, we are insured and we make it right. Just contact the office and we will walk you through a claim.
